Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) affects millions of women around the world, yet it remains one of the most misunderstood and under-researched health conditions. At PCOS World, our journey began with the shared experiences of women who struggled for years with the frustrating, and often painful, symptoms of PCOS. Many of us felt lost and isolated, seeking answers that were hard to find. But we also recognised that we were not alone—so many women were on the same journey, searching for support, community, and understanding.

It all started with a small group of passionate women, each battling their symptoms and challenges, but determined to make a difference for themselves and others. We realised that there was a significant lack of resources, education, and awareness for PCOS sufferers. Women were frequently dismissed or misunderstood by healthcare providers, told that weight loss or birth control was their only solution. We knew there had to be more, and that’s when the vision for PCOS World came to life.

PCOS World was founded with a simple, yet powerful goal: to provide a space where women with PCOS could find the support, resources, and education they need to live empowered, healthy lives. We wanted to create a platform that not only raised awareness about the condition but also gave women the tools to advocate for their health, understand their bodies, and holistically manage their symptoms.

Our community is built on the belief that no woman should feel alone on this journey. Through education, advocacy, and support, we aim to:

 

• Raise Awareness: Break the stigma and silence surrounding PCOS through public campaigns, events, and outreach.​

• Provide Resources: Offer access to evidence-based information on nutrition, mental health, lifestyle changes, and medical treatments that support women with PCOS.
