Infertility: PCOS is a leading cause of infertility in women.
Metabolic Syndrome: Increased risk of high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and abnormal cholesterol levels.
Type 2 Diabetes: Women with PCOS are at higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
Sleep Apnea: Obesity, which is common in PCOS, can increase the risk of sleep apnea.
Endometrial Cancer: Due to prolonged periods of anovulation (lack of ovulation), there is a risk of endometrial hyperplasia or cancer.
